哀牢山的部分山脉位于镇沅彝族哈尼族拉祜族自治县者东镇，近日，山中的胭脂果成熟了，挺拔的树干上缀满了紫红色的椭圆形浆果，散发出诱人果香。

胭脂果，学名粗梗稠李，蔷薇科稠李属落叶乔木，本地村民俗称“野李子”，生长于海拔1200米至2500米的地区。在每年初秋开始成熟，果实呈椭圆形，如拇指大小，果皮为紫红色，口感酸甜。野李子中含有丰富的维生素C、蛋白质、碳水化合物和黄酮类元素，适量食用能增强人体抵抗力。果实加工后可入药，有降低血脂、稳定血压的功效。

每年秋天，在者东镇山间、村中集市都能看到它的身影。胭脂果吃法多样，可以加冰糖熬煮成胭脂果酱，做成秋日饮品；也可直接泡酒，泡出来的酒色泽殷红，酒香和果香相互交织，喝起来酸甜可口。但本地人最喜欢的吃法还是加入白糖、小米辣或者单山蘸水凉拌，在酸辣回甘中感受秋天的山野趣味。
