港口带物流，物流带经贸，经贸带产品。2024年，全市规模以上农产品加工企业117家，实现营业收入414亿元；全市农业产业化重点龙头企业252家，其中国家级9家、省级62家，农业产业化经营率连续16年保持全省第一。秦皇岛成为中国北方最大的扇贝、对虾、海参出口加工基地。

从乡村资源各具特色，到优质农产品遍地开花；从特色产业链式发展，到农、文、旅等多业态深度融合……“秦字号”优质农产品持续上新，“朋友圈”不断扩大。昌黎葡萄酒入选全省“十大高端区域品牌”；“小江菜社”“双伟”被评为“中国蔬菜百强品牌”；桲椤叶饼、野菜团子等特色小吃入选“冀字号名小吃”；“昌黎扇贝”成为国家地理标志保护产品，其加工而成的干贝名列海产“八珍”之一；燕山绒山羊被认定为国家地方品种，列入国家畜禽遗传资源品种名录……
